The projects consists of the extension and refurbishment of a 19th century log house that formas a part of a farmstead in the Norwegian interior. The extension adds a new entrance to the south with a tucked away wardrobe and a picture window framing the view to the courtyard of the farm. The second floor of the extension adds a new living room with glazed gable to the south The glazing is partly covered by a screen consisting of timber cladding shaped into a half moon motif, derived from the pre-existing windows on the other gables.
